We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a software development internship on our Research and DSP team. The position involves the development of audio software and software utilities. Depending on the needs and priorities of the team, this may include the engineering of automated testing tools and unit tests for our DSP algorithms, making improvements to our existing DSP algorithms and possibly implementing novel DSP algorithms. The ideal candidate would have or be working towards a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field with 2 to 3 years of relevant programming experience (preferably in C++).
Responsibilities may include:
• Assisting the development of in-house automated testing utilities for quality assurance purposes
• Assisting our signal processing research efforts
• Addressing known issues in our codebase
• Working in a fast-paced multi-team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• In depth knowledge of C/C++
• Experience using or developing automated software testing tools
• Working knowledge of computer audio and music
• Understanding of Digital Signal Processing
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Apple Xcode, and GIT
• Knowledge of scripting languages are a plus
